FAQ
IS FLYING DIFFICULT TO LEARN?
Not at all. People from all professions and educational backgrounds are pilots. As long as a person is committed to learning and willing to work hard anyone can learn to fly.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
We recommend that you call the office and schedule a discovery flight. These flights last 30 minutes and cost $79.00. A flight instructor will not only take you flying but inform you of the process of coming a pilot and answer any questions you might have.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET A PILOT'S LICENSE?
This depends on many variables such as how often you fly, how much you study, and how committed you are. We generally advise that a private pilot's license will cost in the range of $8,000 to $10,000. However, this is totally dependent on the student.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET A PILOT'S LICENSE?
The FAA states that a pilot must have a minimum of 40 hours of flight time before taking a check ride. The average is 45 to 60 hours depending on the student. Factors such as how often you fly, study habits, and weather come into play.
